Exercise - Not That Efficient If You Don't Perform Calorie Management

By Robert Delucca

With the intention of losing weight you take up fitness training and exercising. You also follow a strict schedule daily without giving up even on weekends. End of few weeks you are expecting to see the changes. What happens if you do not see any weight loss? Frustrating really.

Many people make the mistake of not understanding the science and complete process of body weight loss. They tend to over emphasize on the exercising part and believe that exercising alone is the tool that will help them lose weight. This understanding is not completely true.

If exercising is the first half of the weight reduction program, the other half happens to be controlling and managing the calorie intake into the body which is what you have missed out.

The calorie that you intake into your body via the food should be limited to how much your body needs and not in excess of it. Then the calorie consumed will be burnt up and no fat gets accumulated in the body.

Both calories management and exercising are important for a fit body and to lose weight. Both are important and you cannot undermine the importance of exercising that helps burn the calories and manage the balance as well as keep the body fit.

Most importantly you have got to watch out and refine your eating habit. You have to stop snacking on junk food and sweets that add to calories. We do not mean that you should stop eating. We are asking you to eat right and watch the calories of what you are eating.

We are not going to tell you what is good for you or bad for you. We would advise you to read up more about the nutritional value and contents of the food and ingredients that you consume daily and learn to manage your diet accordingly.

Losing weight and fat in the body has to do with the way you manage the calories and the calorie deficit in the body. Once you understand the mechanism, you will be able to create the deficit whereby the body uses up the fat and results in the weight loss.
