The Two Types Of People Who Like To Buy Teapots

By Aaron Jacob

When it comes to the purchase of teapots, there are two groups of people who harbor a keen interest in it. Basically, these are the people that everyone involved in the business of teapot marketing should acquaint themselves with. This is our chance to acquaint ourselves with this person and, in the process, find out the philosophy behind their teapot purchasing habits. This sort of information is likely to prove useful to people who are involved in teapot marketing ventures. The information gathered could also prove to be useful in both the technical and creative process of manufacturing the teapots.

Let us look at the first group, which is composed of people who refer to themselves as household managers. In this group, teapots are purchased for the sole purpose of being used in the household or a domestic setting. It is rare for you to find a western household that does not have at least one teapot in it. If we speak of a household manager, we are looking at someone in charge of the operations of a household. Often, this is the household's breadwinner.

Instead of buying the teapot himself, the household manager could also delegate the task to someone else in his home. Either he sends the household help, or maybe even another member of his family, to go and make the purchase in his stead. They could decide to buy a teapot for their household for many reasons. Perhaps they are the type of people who wants a household that has a complete set of utensils and kitchen tools. There are simply some people who feel a sense of incompleteness if their household is without a teapot. There is also the utilitarian factor involved. People need a teapot so there is a need to buy one. Maybe their old teapot finally succumbed to wear and tear, or the one they have is no longer enough to cater to the needs of everyone in the household.

The second group of people who tend to show interest in buying teapots is that of hospitality industry actors. The teapots are needed by these people for business purposes, so we are looking at hoteliers, restaurateurs, coffee shop and bar owners, and the like. These types of businesses could not possibly thrive and flourish without a teapot. Growing businesses would also feel the need to replace their existing teapots. This is also true when frequent usage and the simple passage of time would render a teapot in need of a replacement.

You've probably noticed how teapots used in households are vastly different from those used in business, particularly when it comes to design, size, and other features. It is also interesting to note that a business manager shopping for a teapot for his business would adapt a different shopping style from that of a household manager who is simply looking for a teapot to be used in his or her home.
