Ensure A Person's Hemorrhoid Flare-ups Go Away And Not Come Back

By Erina Jones

Hemorrhoids are like pimples, they keep on coming back if you don't know to manage them. If you have had hemorrhoids formation in the past, expect it to return in the near future. The good news is, there are steps you can take to get rid of the condition once and for all.

Your diet plays a vital role in your attempt to combat hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoid formation are often triggered by fatty foods, and though hot and spicy food do not actually cause hemorrhoids, eating them can result to feelings of discomfort in your anal area. Include more fiber in your diet and drink plenty of water as well. These two will help soften hardened stool, making it easier for you to defecate.

Be careful when using public toilets. If you can manage it, empty your stomach before you leave for work so that you won't have to use public toilets. Always practice proper hygiene to prevent spread of germs and bacteria by washing your anal area with soap and water after you go.

One problem that can trigger hemorrhoid formation is forcing yourself too hard when defecating. Try not to exert too much effort to reduce pressure in the anal area. If the bowel does not even after a number of tries, take a break and drink water to improve the condition of your stool. This works especially if you are having constipation.

Exercise is a good way to prevent hemorrhoids from coming back. Doing exercise regularly will help improve blood circulation in your body and your anal area as well. Sitting on a chair for a long period can also cause hemorrhoid formation, which is why if you are working sitting down take a break every thirty minutes or one hour and just walk around.

Never attempt to treat hemorrhoids on your own. A wrong move might cause the condition to get worse. If possible, set an appointment with your specialist once every two months to have your condition checked. Treatment from a specialist is still the best especially for a condition as complicated as hemorrhoids.
