The Worst Foods on the Planet!

By Keller Hardi Dexter

There are many meals out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. Sure we can identify a few of these things-most fast food, for example, while super tasty to eat, cause havoc on your internal system and add way too many calories to your fat stores. But how about those food items that look like they need to be totally fine to eat? What about the meals you get for your kids? Keep reading to learn what some of the worst things in the world are to feed to your family members (or yourself).

Macaroni and cheese, believe it or not, is among the worst things that you could order. While the produce at home on your own variant from Kraft or Annie's is fairly harmless, the mac and cheese you get at a diner usually is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese meal from California Pizza Kitchen, by way of example is frighteningly unhealthy. Just one particular order of this food contains almost forty grams of saturated fat, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and more than one thousand calories. This seriously isn't even remotely healthy.

How many times do you buy those frozen pot pies out of your grocery store's freezer section? These appear to be quasi-healthy eleventh hour meals but the truth is that they are loaded with unnecessary calories. Stouffer's pot pies, to use one example, store over eleven hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and just about eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. You might wind up eating all of your recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You probably think that a vegetarian sandwich must be among the healthiest things you can order from a fast food place, right? The genuine reality is that, since you probably will putting dressings and other condiments in this sandwich as well, they are usually just as unhealthy as a sandwich packed with meat. When you order a vegetarian sandwich from Blimpies (as an example), you will be ordering nearly twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. Why do folks believe that is healthful?

Surely a salad, of all things, needs to be healthful. This is common thought anyway. When we are wanting something wholesome and fast, we usually look for a salad to help fill us up with food that is good for us. It might shock you then to read that some salads are not all that healthy. TGI Fridays's Santa Fe chopped salad, to work with one example, includes almost eighteen hundred calories. This is almost certainly due to the fact that this distinct salad is the size of a big dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

Sadly, the fact remains that the foods we buy from restaurants or when we are in a hurry is just not going to be as healthful as the food that we cook for ourselves at home. We know that you may not be in love with the prospect of cooking food for yourself but the truth is that, particularly when you're trying to lose weight and improve your health, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
