I have had many problems in the past with my cookware. Residue would still stick to the bottom, even after washing, the metal would char and bend badly, and lids wouldn't fit after a few years. I knew this seemed like an impossible thing, but I found a set for only $110. I knew that was a steal.

I didn't know so much of this brand at the time, and I was basically looking for something to use every day. Since I was on a tight budget, I saw that this set had potential because it looked classy. When I brought it home and tried it out, it really surprised me. I used to think that because it was light weight, it wouldn't last so long. But, I have been using the same set everyday for all my meals, and it's been 5 years since I first bought them. They still are as durable as they were the first day I got them.

The Cuisinart stainless cookware set I bought is made out of 18% chromium and 10% nickel. This may sound a bit technical, but basically it means that overall, it is a good conductor of heat. What I do is, right after transferring my food into a serving dish, I immediately mix water and dishwashing liquid into the pots and pans that I've used and I let it simmer while our family eats. By the time we're gone, the residue in the cookware has already washed off as well. Then, I simply put the cookware, along with our used plates, in the dishwasher. Luckily, they are very dishwasher safe, so it doesn't cause a problem.
