Recipe for Guacamol with Mayonnaise

By Alejandro Mole

This certain guacamole recipe with mayonnaise was offered to me by a buddy whose mother was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. My buddy adapted the recipe to consist of ingredients discovered in the southern part of the United states of america. Each ingredient is simple to locate in a nearby supermarket. As opposed to some guacamole recipes, this recipe will not consist of the use of jalapeno peppers, so people who are sensitive to heat or peppers can still dig in and enjoy. It's a pretty easy recipe to produce and is just appropriate for the newbie. So long as it is possible to read and measure, it is possible to produce this delicious appetizer.

Guacamole With Mayonnaise Ingredients

2 ripe avocados- The avocados need to yield when gently squeezed. If they feel like hard baseballs, place them inside a brown paper bag and let sit and ripen for two days. The avocados need to appear a dark brownish-green., 1/2 lemon, with seeds removed., 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 2 heaping tablespoons of salsa- You could use mild, medium, or hot. If you like guacamole to have a spicy taste, making use of hot is advised., 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon fresh, cracked, black pepper

Directions

1. Place the avocado on a cutting board, holding it firmly. Insert a sharp kitchen knife into the avocado till the knife hits the pit or tough seed. Holding the knife securely in place, rotate the avocado till a circle has been firmly cut along the avocado. It is best to then be able to quickly split the avocado into two pieces. Make use of a spoon to rotate under the big pit and take away the pit and throw away. 2. Employing the same spoon, scoop the avocado flesh from the peel and put into a bowl. Throw away the peel.

3. Repeat Steps one and 2 with the second avocado.

4. Employing the back of a fork, mash the avocado together till it has formed a thick paste. It's ok if you will discover lumps remaining, the dip will not need to be smooth.

5. Add the mayonnaise, salsa, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well till all ingredients are combined.

6. Squeeze the juice of the lemon in to the combined mixture. One or two great squeezes should be plenty. The lemon juice not just adds flavor, it also keeps the guacamole from turning an unattractive brown color.

Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap and place in fridge till ready to serve. This guacamole recipe with mayo tends to make around two cups of guacamole or serves 4. Feel free to experiment and add in other ingredients to make this recipe your own. Add jalapeno peppers for a pop of heat or fresh cilantro for an authentic flavor of Mexico.
