It's not always incredibly easy, finding good Persian food in LA, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is impossible by any means. Let's take the Attari Sandwich Stop as an example. We associate the word "Atari" with another well-known corporation, but in this situation it happens to be quite the sandwich shop. This maybe one of the best Persian restaurants in Los Angeles.
One of the major statements people have a tendency to make relating to Attari is that the food is sort of healthy. We found that the meat kotlet sandwich was quite nice, which was intensely filling. The scenery around the multinational is nice according to the great majority of sandwich lovers with a great courtyard, lots of outdoor seating, and a fountain to sit around.
One thing to note is if you are looking for a rigidly normal Persian experience, you aren't going to find it here. There's a but of a modern twist on the food served here, and with that being true you can find more authentic Persian food at other locations in Los Angeles. The catch however is the price, and you will find that Attari charges a relatively low one contrasted to many other sandwich shops on the market.
Right next door, Attari has opened a sit down eatery called the Attari Grill. For those trying to find that realistic Persian experience it may be found here with a high end menu that goes from salads, to kebabs, all of the way to specialty entrees. This is less costly when compared to other bistros in the LA area, particularly considering the $10 stews that are generally accessible.
The majority of people we chatted to stated that the staff was awfully friendly which very definitely correlates with our own experiences. That having been said, it actually could not hurt to give this establishment a try and see what it can do for you during your lunch hour. You will more than likely be astonished!
