Four Popular Vegan Dinner Recipes

If one is a vegan, then he is not allowed to eat meat but that does not mean that he is only restricted to eating vegetables. Although vegans cannot eat meat, they can still enjoy other types of produce like dairy products and such. So if one would want to enjoy some guilt free dishes, then here are some great vegan dinner recipes.

The vegetarian burrito is one of the best dishes that many vegans know how to make and love to make. Basically, the only things that one will be needing would be some rice, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and plenty of black beans. If one would worry about it not tasting nice because there is no meat, then just fill up the whole burrito with more beans and sour cream.

Now if one is a big fan of Italian food, then he may want to try this recipe for making a vegetarian pasta. Now to start off, one must first make the sauce by frying some onions, tomatoes, and peppers in a pan. When the ingredients are already a little brown and smell good, put in the tomato paste and olive oil. Once the sauce is cooked, make the noodles and mix the two in a big bowl.

If one is a fan of burgers but cannot eat meat, then he would really love this recipe for making vegetarian burgers. The thing that will be replacing the meat will be bread crumbs that will be mixed with some milk or eggs in order to bind the crumbs together so that it can form the so called meat. Just mix the flour, the eggs, the crumbs, the onions, and some soy milk in a bowl until it forms.

Once the individual patties have already formed, then one must now start frying them. To do this, form the patties into a small circular shape and make it a little bit more sturdy. From there, put the vegetable oil into the pan and then fry the patty in the pan until the patty is brown.

An all time favorite snack that many vegans would enjoy eating would be the vegetarian style fish and chips. Now in order to make the fish part of the dish, one must use tofu in order to substitute for the meat part. Basically, one must first drain the tofu until the there is no more water left so that it can be able to take in the malt vinegar.

So once he has done this, he should now leave the tofu inside the malt vinegar and just leave it to soak until the next day. The next thing to do would be to mix some flour, pepper and salt together in order to make the batter. Dip the tofu in the batter and later bake the batter filled tofu in the oven for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes.

So if one is a vegan, then he will really enjoy these great vegan dinner recipes. Of course he may improvise on some of the ingredients if he would want to. If he is feeling creative, then he can experiment with many different styles and flavors.
