What Are Retro Refrigerators?

By Allan Henry

Specific names have long been recognizable to different staff in the cooling companies. The name "Frigidaire" has emerged on countless American fridges. Now, however, a rising number of people are asking, "What Smeg Retro Fridges are?"

The entire of the Smeg refrigerators have a retro style, a look that is the same as the look of the fridges built in the 1950s. Then each fridge had hinges on the side of the door. The design of the fridge will settle on how that door will open-whether to the left or to the right.

Previously to every refrigerator had a freezer on top, and a cooling spot down below. Then, every fridge had curved angles at the top. People did not keep things above the fridge.

Now the Smeg fridges look much like the older style of "ice box." Yet this innovative type of refrigerator has many interesting new features. First of all, it has an antibacterial interior which would prevent bacteria from growing, thus food will be preserved better.

In nature, homemakers should welcome the arrival of an appliance that can reduce chances for the growth of bacteria in a refrigerated item. Still, homemakers are not the only people who care about the proximity of bacteria and cooled items. The women and men who run research labs also rely on the cleanliness of a refrigerator. They should welcome the introduction of Smeg appliances as well.

Now protection should be a principle concern in any lab. Therefore, the person who orders devices for the laboratory must get the safest style of tools.

The producers of the Smeg refrigerators have specified the conditions under which their merchandise can carry out satisfactorily in any given circumstance. Smeg literature tells that there must be a gap of 12 and inches on the hinged side of a door, in order to let that door to open. Upon observation to that requisite, a laboratory has to be prepared for delivery of a Smeg Retro cooling unit.

There are a number of colors available for these Retro fridges. They come in black, red, pink, cream, orange, lime and blue. Wouldn't it be fun to put a pink refrigerator in a laboratory that does research on breast cancer? It is really up to the selection of the person who will buy it. But whichever of their styles and colors to choose from, people can be certain of the quality and durability of these Smeg appliances.
